AFA Engineering Consultants provide comprehensive mechanical and electrical engineering services to civic, corporate, education, government, healthcare, historic, industrial, institutional and religious clients. Incorporated in 1969 in Lexington, Kentucky, the firm is in its 35th consecutive year of operation. Our staff of 7 includes 3 registered engineers and several designers, field personnel, and support staff. Our services are primarily conducted within the Commonwealth of Kentucky but we are also licensed to work in Indiana, Missouri, Ohio, Tennessee, & West Virginia. We are also available for nationwide travel for federal projects.

Mission

The mission of AFA is to provide designs that clearly reflect the desires of our clients, commensurate with budget and project requirements. Our construction documents provide a clearly defined scope of work for bidding contractors, resulting in an efficient bidding process and minimal modifications during the construction process. We further strive to provide systems that complement the capabilities of our clients operating and maintenance personnel.
